We're looking for an experienced BI Specialist who can build and maintain PowerBI dashboards for KWS Vegetables. With your strong persuasion skills, you can easily convince our colleagues of the added value that can be obtained from linking, analyzing and correctly interpreting data. Are you the one that can bring overview into our organization with reliable and transparent dashboards?


Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for anticipating, recognizing and translating the needs of the business into usable PowerBI dashboards. 
  • You collect all the relevant data from the DataLake. 
  • The PowerBI dashboards you build and maintain are part of the bigger picture. 
  • Through the applied structure, you provide consolidated dashboards for management and more detailed and specified dashboards in the departments. 
  • You identify the needs and wants of the organization and its various departments. On an operational, tactical and strategic level.
  • You prioritize, specify, verify and validate functional wishes and requirements and communicate this clearly to the ICT department and other stakeholders.
  • You will be able to contribute to our data governance structure .
  • You work together with the KeyUsers in the business to improve “data thinking.
  • You identify opportunities, risks, bottlenecks and deviations and, if necessary, advise the management about this.
  • You substantiate findings and plans well and enthusiastically towards stakeholders.

You've got the following skills:

  • You have HBO work and thinking level and several years of work experience as a BI specialist.
  • You have broad experience in working with PowerBI and knowledge about DAX programming language.
  • You have broad knowledge of a manufacturing environment, forecasts, ATP and MRP are familiar to you.
  • You have a helicopter view, are analytically strong, problem solving and have good adaptability. 
  • You work in a structured way and can understand End-to-End processes.
  • You've got excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
  • You are results-oriented and a true team player and you've got a critical attitude.
  • You have experience in working with dimensional models and knowledge about database structures.
  • You have an affinity for information technology (interest in AI/ML/BigData).
  • You never let the opportunity to automate (including through new technologies) go unused.
