We are looking for a detail-driven coordinator who thrives in a lab environment and knows how to get things moving – with precision, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility. At the core of our Quality Lab in Andijk, you’ll combine coordination with execution. You’ll prepare, perform and evaluate germination tests, and ensure that every step meets high-quality standards. Whether it’s soil or paper-based testing, data logging in ABS, or supporting process improvements – you’re on it.

You’ll also act as a sparring partner for the Lab Manager and a trusted go-to for your technician colleagues. You’ll help align priorities, safeguard timelines, support audits, and onboard new team members. Expect a diverse role where routine and growth go hand in hand.

You keep things clean, compliant and efficient and you bring the energy to drive us forward.

Hungry for something Fresh? Join us and be part of a team that values accuracy, teamwork and a proactive approach. Together, we’ll explore the boundaries of what’s possible in seed quality control and lead the way in sustainable practices. At KWS Vegetables, we are not here to follow, but to pioneer.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily planning and workflows in the Quality Lab (germination & seed quality testing)
  • Aligning test priorities with colleagues from Production, Breeding, Operations, and Quality
  • Monitoring test progress and securing timelines, accuracy, and process compliance
  • Registering test results and managing data in relevant systems (e.g. ABS, Excel)
  • Supporting the onboarding and coaching of interns and temporary workers
  • Driving process improvements together with your manager and other teams
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment
  • Contributing to audits and documentation for internal and external quality standards

To seed your future, you've got the following skills:
  • MBO/HBO-level education in biology, lab work, seed technology or related fields
  • Strong planning, organizing and coordination skills
  • A proactive, accurate and hands-on mindset
  • Experience with lab work or seed testing is a plus
  • Affinity with working in a regulated, quality-driven environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and good working knowledge of English
  • Comfortable using Excel and digital systems (experience with ABS is a bonus)
  • Team-oriented, flexible and eager to learn

Reasons to develop your talents within KWS Vegetables:

  • You will be part of a fast-evolving, international company striving to become a leader in the vegetable seed industry.
  • Your working environment is very diverse and you will collaborate with a team of experienced gurus and fresh talents.

  • You get to work with fantastic colleagues and will be part of our Vegetable Squad.
