For the UK & Ireland, we’re ready to take the next step moving into a direct sales model. That’s why we’re looking for a Regional Market Development Manager who knows the market, spots opportunities early, and turns them into action.

In this role, you’re more than a commercial driver. You’re the connection between growers, processors, retailers, and our internal teams. You bring insights from the field into our strategy, guide where we move next, and make sure our crops spinach, Swiss chard, red beet and beans land where they create the most value.

You’ll be the voice of the market within KWS and play a key role in strengthening our position in this important region. Hands-on, strategic, and always focused on impact.

In this role, you report directly to the Global Customer Team Lead while keeping full ownership in the region. You operate with a high level of independence, but always as part of a team that moves forward together.

Your responsibilities

You drive market development in the UK & Ireland from strategy to execution. You connect the market with our organization, build strong relationships across the value chain, and turn insights into concrete actions.

  • Develop and execute the regional market strategy

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across the value chain

  • Translate market insights into actions for breeding, product and business development

  • Drive successful introduction and adoption of new varieties

  • Identify growth opportunities and strengthen KWS’ market position

  • Connect teams and stakeholders to deliver impact together

Skills & experience

  • 5+ years of experience in vegetable seeds, fresh produce, or a related agri-sector

  • Strong understanding of UK & Ireland vegetable production and market dynamics

  • Experience in customer development, market development or strategic roles

  • Comfortable working with data and tools such as ERP (ABS/SAP), CRM (Salesforce) and product systems (Mercado).

  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships across the value chain

  • Able to translate market insights into concrete business opportunities
