As an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d) at KWS, you are responsible to ensure payments on time and to develop our services further. This role collaborates with the respective Team Coordinator and Team Lead. It is a full-time temporary position starting with the next possible date.

You will be responsible for:

• Perform analysis of taxes levied on invoices (PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, DIFAL, ISS, RETIDOS NA FONTE, etc.)
• Coding goods, service, and freight invoices (NFEs, DANFEs, CTEs, etc.) with and without Purchase Order using SAP (MIGO/MIRO)
• Conducting payments in the timely manner (payment runs & manual payments)
• Communicate clearly with our stakeholders and business users
• Managing requests such as tickets and dunnings
• Clearing supplier accounts including open items
• Reviewing and improving our processes
• Collaborating with different departments to achieve our goals

Show your strengths: 

• Solid knowledge in Brazilian tax assessment – PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, DIFAL, ISS, RETIDOS NA FONTE (IMPRESCINDÍVEL)
• BA Degree preferably in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis), correlated areas such as Business Administration, Economics, etc. will also be considered
• Fluent English and Portuguese is mandatory both verbally and in written
• Knowledge in SAP or xFlow are an advantage
• A good understanding of Accounting processes, especially with regards to processing incoming invoices
• Organized and able to work on different tasks in a structured and time-oriented way
• Good communication skills and a cooperative working style
• Motivation to grow as a person
• Prior experience in the Agribusiness sector is a plus
