As an electronics technician (m/f/d), your main tasks will be the independent maintenance, servicing and repair of our special agricultural machinery in the area of field trial activities. Both regular and planned maintenance as well as troubleshooting in an emergency are part of your area of responsibility. Furthermore, you can contribute your ideas to the interdisciplinary new development of KWS tailor-made agricultural technology. 

This position is offered within KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA on a temporary basis for two years and full-time at our headquarters in Einbeck as soon as possible. 

Your new challenge 

• Maintaining the special machines for field trial activities at KWS 
• Troubleshooting and error analysis 
• Commissioning and maintenance of electrical machine components 
• System diagnosis and evaluation of faults with supervisory control systems 
• Preparation of maintenance and servicing plans 
• PLC programming for small-scale systems 
• Participation in the planning and development of new concepts in the area of field trials 

Contribute your competences 

• Completed professional education as an electronics technician (m/f/d) for operating or automation technology or a comparable qualification, ideally with several years of professional experience 
• Relation to agriculture in the professional or private area 
• Fluent German skills mandatory and good English preferred 
• Good knowledge of measurement and control engineering as well as experience with fieldbus systems 
• Solid skills in the use of PCs and MS Office applications 
• Analytical thinking and good technical understanding 
• Willingness for seasonal overtime and on-call duty as well as willingness to travel at national and international level (up to 15%)
