We are looking for a Communications Expert for Research Topics (m/f/d) for our Corporate Communications Team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck (Lower Saxony).  This position is permanent and in full-time.


Your tasks:

  • Responsible for communicating relevant research topics as part of KWS' strategic communications plan.
  • Clear, comprehensible and attractive communication of research topics for the internal and external stakeholders of the company.
  • Support of the management in working together with external media.
  • Identification and development of relevant topics/stories from the research environment at KWS.
  • Further development of "World of Farming" as KWS' company-wide online magazine.
  • Development of relevant content, such as photos or videos, around the topics/stories in cooperation with KWS Content Management.
  • Publication of topics/stories via relevant channels to increase the company's attention and reputation.
  • Tracking the reach and interaction triggered by the topics/stories.


Your profile

  • Academic background, optionally in journalism, PR and/or media management.
  • Several years of relevant experience in the creation of editorial contents/storytelling - ideally as science editor or editor for R&D topics.
  • Double qualification in science and journalism - ideally background in life science/agronomy.
  • Good communication skills and high powers of persuasion.
  • Ability to explain even complicated topics in an attractive and easily understandable way.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German.
