Start with us in fulltime and with an unlimited contract as our Head of Region (m/f/d) North and Southeast Europe Sugarbeet at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck, Lower Saxony. 


Your range of tasks will be:

  • You steer the Sugarbeet business in North (UK, DK, SE, FI, Baltics) and Southeast Europe (SK, HU, RO, RS, HR) Regions. To this end you develop and implement a mid-/long term sales & marketing strategies for our Sugarbeet Business Unit and your given regions in coherence with KWS group's overall strategy and interests.
  • You collaborate hands in hands with other Heads of Region to effectively manage and balance the cross-crop interests with the individual needs of each crop to ensure optimal performance and alignment with overall strategic goals.
  • As the designated Head of Region for North Europe (FI, SE, Baltics), South East Europe (SK, HR) you serve as the liaison between the Regional Commercial Team and the country for all cross-crop and administrative related matters.
  • As member of the leadership team of the Business Unit Sugarbeet, you contribute with an active participation in the long-term strategy and overall success of the BU
  • You oversee Profit & Loss responsibility for the budgeted and approved budgets (sales, gross margin, costs etc.) within the above-mentioned region
  • You manage development of the teams and team members
  • You are regularly travelling up to 50% in your scope region. 


Bring in your strengths:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business management, Agri Business or in a similar disciplinary. You bring along a strong interest in agriculture and ideally a proven experience in this field or a related field such as Agricultural Machinery or Agri-Food. 
  • Proven track record in an international leadership position and in international sales coupled with a deep understanding of business management. 
  • Experience in cross-country change process including experience in working in Matrix organisation 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on both external and internal stakeholders fostering communication in diverse cultural settings
  • Ability to capture the big picture and translate it into actionable strategies, demonstrating a strategic mindset to drive meaningful outcomes
  • Leading as an example in terms of accountability and maintaining a high motivation to meet and exceed goals
  • Fostering a culture of continuous development within teams
  • Excellent command of the English language. Additional relevant languages are very beneficial.
