What you can expect to do:

  • Achieve and maintain all official authorizations for all KWS activities with Seed Treatments / Biologicals from early research through product commercialization 
  • Map regulatory requirements for Seed Treatments / Biologicals, maintain and continuously update the knowledge of the most recent legislation on a global level
  • Overtake tasks in the risk assessment of Seed Treatments / Biologicals projects and to observe new developments in this area globally
  • Coordinate and perform Seed Treatments / Biologicals product registration through fertilizer or PPP legislation
  • Representing the KWS Group interests in National and International Seed Associations in Europe
  • Proactive internal alignment process cross crops and Business Units, effective internal and external communication 

That's what we expect from you:

  • University level qualification / Master or PhD in Biology or Agricultural Science/Agricultural Biology or similar field
  • Knowledge of a broad range of scientific disciplines including plant molecular biology or general agricultural science; familiarity with plant breeding and agricultural production desired
  • Familiarity with the Regulatory Science data requirements to support approvals
  • Ideally experienced with Regulatory Affairs for Seed Treatments / Biologicals, through prior position in industry, academia, or government institution, knowledge of regulatory systems for products of Seed Treatments / Biologicals
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly committed, flexibility and willing to cooperate
  • Proven independent ability to prepare succinct, scientifically accurate, and clearly written technical and regulatory documents as well as discreet and confidential in handling assignments
  • Successful demonstrated organizational skills, time management skills and strong attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral in English and German
