For KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA we are looking for a Senior Manager (m/w/d) Seed Production for our Corn Business Unit. You will be jointly responsible for controlling and monitoring seed production activities for corn mainly in Western and Southern Europe, including relevant functional responsibilities according to the decision matrix of the KWS Corn BU. In addition, you will take over the management of a team on site and coordinate international project groups. The main work location is in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany), but this position requires mobility to support the international production areas.  This exciting and varied position is permanent and full-time.

Your tasks - challenge meets responsibility:
•    Control & monitoring of certified corn seed production with all relevant process steps in Western and Southern Europe, as well as Contra Season.
•    Continuous review of production capacities (field & plant) and participation in the development of the medium- and long-term production strategy in the area of responsibility
•    Review, optimization and further development of the responsible production sites in order to achieve a high stable corn production at a benchmark cost position
•    Production cost control and optimization, taking into account national conditions
•    Continuous development of processes and structures in/for the assigned areas and activities

 Your profile - competence meets personality:
•    Completed studies in agricultural sciences or a comparable degree program
•    High level of agricultural expertise in seed production
•    Excellent relationship building skills combined with strong leadership and motivational communication skills
•    Outgoing, dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a desire to take international teams to the next level
•    Expertise in seed law, marketing fundamentals, breeding and disposition would be a plus
•    Excellent organizational and IT skills in Microsoft applications
•    Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages are a plus
•    Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 30-40%) on an international level
