KWS Türk is searching for a "Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist" to join their Eskişehir headquarters and support HSE activities for all Türkiye. This position is full time and for unlimited period. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Ensure that operations are carried out within the framework of respective regulations.
•    Ensure that the KWS Türk facilities comply with the legislative requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety.
•    Carry out all necessary planning and organization for any changes to be made in the workplace, submit the plans to the Management for review and approval. 
•    Participate in regular meetings and workshops with overseas HSE department of KWS Group, deliver presentation and reports effectively.
•    Execute risk assessment in terms of occupational health and safety regularly and share findings and recommendations with the Management.
•    Plan and execute activities to reinforce health and safety culture in the workplace, coordinate between relevant units, provide guidelines to employees and the Management on  occupational health and safety rules and activities.
•    Execute regular and ad-hoc audits in work premises (inside and outdoors including fields) and draw recommendations to the Management for any maintenance matters or potential gaps.
•    Act in accordance with KWS’s global and local OHS policies.
•    Follow up local legislative updates and inform Management on time for any upcoming or new OHS regulations.
•    Conduct regular OHS audits, create action plans and follow up with respective units. 
•    Establish and develop OHS documentation system, prepare written policies, and ensure it will be maintained up-to-date.
•    Visit KWS Türk production fields around Türkiye regularly to check OHS requirements and run audits.
•    Plan and execute annual OHS trainings for KWS Türk employees.
•    Prepare budgets for OHS activities each fiscal year and ensure accuracy of forecasts.
•    Prepare OHS activity reports regularly. 
•    Liase with the Ministry of Environment as and when required.

Skills and Core Competencies Required:

•    Residing in Eskişehir or willing to relocate.
•    Bachelor's Degree on the Environmental Engineering or similar fields.

•    "B Class Occupational Safety Expert" certificate holder.

•    Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally in global companies.

•    Fluent Turkish and English language skills.
•    Advanced user of MS Office programs.
•    Tech savvy and keen with researching.
•    Adaptable to flexible working schedule when required.
•    No restrictions to travel in Türkiye and abroad.
•    High sense of business ethics and representation.
•    Valid B class driver’s license and no restrictions to drive frequently.
•    For male applicants, military service must have been completed.
