We are pleased to announce the recruitment, at the earliest opportunity, of a Logistics Administrator to join our Logistics Team within KWS UK based at Thriplow.  The focus of the role will be to support the logistics and wider commercial teams in the efficient administration for both our internal and external stakeholders.

 

An understanding of seed and/or agriculture would be an advantage. The role would also involve co-ordinating with the production and multiplication teams to ensure the supply of quality seed.  Whilst the role will be office based there will be some requirement for external working undertaking crop inspections, for which a current driving licence would be required.

 

About KWS

Your tasks:

 

To support the logistics team in all administrative functions with a focus on our SAP system.

 

To provide administrative support to our customer base.

 

To assist with seed certification, crop inspection and seed sample coordination.

 

To process orders for multiplication and trial seed.

 

To produce reports to support the wider commercial team in meeting targets.

 

To liaise with the production team to co-ordinate sales and production.

 

 

 

Your profile:

 

Commercially Aware and Enthusiastic – ideally with experience in the arable sector

 

Able to communicate with colleagues and customers to promote a positive image of KWS

 

Entrepreneurial Spirit with the ability to act independently

 

Trustworthy and reliable

 

Familiar with MS Office Application, experience with CRM systems is an advantage
