KWS Lochow Polska is looking for an experienced Business Partner Controlling Poland (m/f/d) for one of our offices in Poland in Kondratowice or Poznań from November, 2020. The Business Partner (m/f/d) will take care of our legal entities in Poland. As Business Partner Controlling Poland (m/f/d) you will be the key interaction point for the business and support local and regional managers in implementing and executing the businesses operative and strategic targets by providing high quality financial analysis and advice. Moreover, you will manage interfaces between functions and triggers permanent improvement of Controlling activities in your area of responsibility in close cooperation with our internal experts and other Business Partner teams. The position is unlimited and in full-time.

 

Your responsibility:

  • Pro-actively providing high quality analysis to support manager decisions in operative and mid- and long-term steering of the business by performing regular business profitability reviews and monitoring adequate measures
  • Executing financial planning and forecasting processes in your area of responsibility (supported by internal Experts and the Global Transactional Center located in Berlin) by challenging assumptions with profound knowledge of market and company´s development, focusing on achieving business targets and evaluating chances and risks
  • Taking an active role in product cost controlling through calculating standard prices and providing analysis on field and plant production processes
  • Generating scenarios together with management for changed and new processes/ business models
  • Collecting and evaluating Controlling demands of the business (structure/content), and providing solutions for utmost usage of standardized processes and reports
  • Liaising with other Business Partner teams for intercompany and cross country/region activities
  • Performing quarterly and year-end closing processes according to respective processes and timeline

 

Your skills and competences:

  • Academic degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance or similar
  • At least 5 years of proven professional experience in the field of controlling / finance / economics - preferably in an international environment
  • Several years of experience in product cost controlling as well as a profound business knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Project management experience (PMP preferred) and strong organizational skills 
  • High level of customer-service orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Fluent English and Polish language skills spoken and written
  • Experienced handling of relevant IT systems (Microsoft, SAP and others) required
