Your Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement the mid-/long term Seed Technology strategy across all crops in close cooperation with all Strategic Crop Teams and the overarching vegetables strategy

•Create additional value for customers and KWS by scouting and implementing new Seed treatment products & recipes

•Develop new seed technologies that create additional value in vegetables operations

•Integrate seamless vegetables seed technology projects into the global seed technology structure and teams of KWS

•Further develop of basic research activities to create a knowledge pool for product and technology development

•Steer the respective projects, including clear standards and KPIs for product and process evaluation

•Develop and leads the seed technology team based in Andijk

•Ensures Seed Technology value creation for all vegetables, in alignment with Strategic Crop Team prioritization and trait requirements

•Establish effective seed technology pipeline development incl. make or buy decisions

•Integrate of new seed technologies in the production process including protocol developments

•Takes responsibility for the Seed Technology research strategy and budget

•Coordinate seed technology projects and collaborate closely with the KWS central seed technology organization

To seed your future, you've got the following skills:

•Master’s degree or comparable with strong interest in Technology and Agriculture

•Extensive experience in relevant roles, displaying international leadership experience and understanding of agricultural and business management

•Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on both external and internal stakeholders fostering excellent communication in diverse cultural settings

•Ability to envision the big picture and translate it into actionable strategies, demonstrating a strategic mindset to drive meaningful outcomes

•Leading as an example in terms of accountability and maintaining a high motivation to meet and exceed goals and foster a culture of continuous development within teams

•Excellent command of the English language. Additional relevant languages are very beneficial

•Scientific and Research expertise would be very beneficial
