The Business Partner Controller Argentina will serve as a key interaction point to the business and support local and regional managers in implementing and executing the businesses operative and strategic targets by providing high quality financial analysis and advice.

Moreover, you will also manage interfaces between functions and trigger permanent improvement of controlling activities in your area of responsibility in close cooperation with Expert Hubs and other Business Partner teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Key interaction point for business stakeholders on the level of legal entities to ensure high-quality consultation, insight-related and knowledge bases services.
• Provide financial planning and analytical-based business proposals to support commercial steering and strategic activities.
• In addition to functional controlling knowledge, need to possess or develop knowledge in the business model, products, market, and customer dynamic for the legal entities under your responsibility.
• Support business leaders on country and regional level with implementing and executing the business operative and strategic targets.
• Able to successfully pilot enhancement to business processes within country of responsibility.
• Manage cross functional interfaces and trigger permanent improvement of controlling activities.

Your profile:

• Academic degree in Economics/Business Administration or similar
• Several years of proven professional experience in the field of controlling, preferably in an international environment
• Proven practical experience in product cost controlling and material ledger closing is a plus.
• Business knowledge in the agriculture industry is a plus.
• Ability to drive operational excellence (analytical & problem-solving skills) in a changing environment.
• Solid knowledge of IAS 29 & hyperinflation exposure
• Experience managing foreign exchange exposure.
• Project management experience and strong organizational skills is a plus.
• High level of customer-service orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Experience in relevant IT systems (Microsoft, SAP, Business Warehouse).
• Excellent command of local language and English (written and spoken).
