For our location in Wohlde-Bergen, we are looking for a Junior Production Manager (m/f/d) Germany in a full-time, permanent position.
In this exciting role, you will support the Production & Logistics of the Cereals Business Unit in the implementation, organization, and management of production processes and associated seed multiplication projects.

Your exciting responsibilities in this role:

  • Planning, organizing, and managing all production-related activities in the area of non-hybrid seeds
  • Meeting the requirements of internal and external customers while considering cost and quality aspects in the area of high-level seed multiplication
  • Planning seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed, including maintaining and expanding the network of multipliers and processors
  • Collaborating with national production consulting teams and interacting with international SeedTech teams and breeding experts to optimize seed multiplication and production
  • Contributing to cross-departmental IT projects and communication tools (e.g., S4 Hana, Ginco, etc.)
  • Assisting in budgeting and production cost calculations
  • Prospective future personnel responsibility in the non-hybrid sector, leading interdisciplinary teams, and overseeing departmental responsibilities

 

Bring in your strengths:  

  • A completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant knowledge and experience in the seed industry
  • Experience in arable farming
  • Knowledge of the seed industry is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style, paired with the ability to quickly grasp complex system structures
  • Flexibility and desire for development in a dynamic environment
