Step into a key role within our dynamic Global Finance & Controlling Team at KWS Berlin GmbH as an Expert (all genders) - Group Accounting & Consolidation.

 

In this exciting position, you will drive high-impact group accounting and consolidation activities in an international business environment, contributing directly to financial transparency, strategic decision-making, and the continued success of a globally operating organization. 

 

As part of this exciting assignment from today until October 2027 (fixed-term maternity cover), you will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to a highly professional and collaborative environment while actively shaping key financial processes on a global level.

Your tasks:

 

  • Actively support the implementation and rollout of the new group consolidation tool Tagetik
  • Perform quarterly and annual group consolidations in the consolidation system (Tagetik) and support on transition / change management during go-live
  • Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany balances and transactions
  • Manage consolidation entries, including equity investments, mergers, disposal, business combinations and foreign currency translation
  • Coordinate and support group-wide closing activities
  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and preparing group notes as well as ad-hoc analysis
  • Develop and perform quality reviews of financial statements and reporting packages
  • Document and improving of accounting-related processes and procedures

 

 

 

 

Your profile: 

 

  •  Preferably, you have an academic degree with a focus on accounting/auditing or another international accountants’ certificate
  • Several years of experience in the field of group consolidation / group accounting
  • Must-have: operational experience with consolidation tools (Tagetik is preferred; SAP ECCS an asset)
  • Sound knowledge of consolidation principles and IFRS 
  • IT literacy in SAP and MS Office applications
  • Experience in terms of process optimization or system implementations is an asset
  • Excellent command of English; German as a plus
