At KWS Berlin GmbH we are seeking an HR Business Partner North Europe (m/f/d) who will be responsible for KWS business in UK, Scandinavia and Baltics.
In this role - based in the vibrant city of Berlin - you will serve as a strategic advisor and collaborator, leveraging your HR Business Partner expertise to directly influence our local HR landscape.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is keen on designing, implementing, and evolving the HR business partnering model for KWS. You will champion the workforce development, ensure compliance with local requirements and foster a culture of open communication and continuous learning.

Your tasks:

Strategic Partner: Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to shape and implement people strategies, ensuring HR initiatives support both local and global business goals

Global HR Alignment: Drive the implementation of KWS-wide HR policies, standards, and initiatives while ensuring compliance with local legal requirements. Partner with the business to execute the global HR strategy, translating it into impactful local actions that support organizational objectives

Advisory Role: Provide guidance to employees and support as well managers on performance management, personnel cost planning and forecasting, succession planning, career development, training, and conflict resolution

Talent Acquisition and Development: Play a critical role in finding, attracting, and nurturing top talent to support the growth of KWS

Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the interface between the Expert Hubs HR, Global Business Operation HR, and the business to support decision-making processes with relevant information and analysis

Project Involvement: Lead or contribute to projects aimed at improving global processes and workflows
Your profile:

Educational Background: A strong academic degree in psychology, business administration, labor law, or a comparable field

HR Expertise: Several years of HR experience in a globally operating company, with solid knowledge in talent management, performance management, personnel cost planning, recruitment, and development. Experience supporting businesses or teams in the UK, Scandinavia, and/or the Baltics is considered an asset

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze HR key metrics, derive strategic goals, and advance critical initiatives with an economic mindset

Communication: Excellent communication skills that balance diplomacy with assertiveness

IT literacy: User experience in relevant IT systems, including Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus

Flexibility: you don’t mind travelling

Language Skills: excellent command of English; knowledge of local languages is regarded an asset
