For our Master Data Management team in KWS Berlin GmbH we are looking for a proactive, determined, and detailed-oriented candidate as a Master Data Key User (m/f/d) in Berlin. With a high level of motivation and commitment, you ensure the integrity and high quality of our master data for the entire supply chain and play a key role in the optimization of the Master Data department process. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and will focus mainly on the establishment, integration and maintenance of data standards, process, Master Data Governance tool and other systems for Vendor, Customer or Material Master Data management supporting KWS Business Units globally. This is a permanent, full-time position.
The Master Data Key User will be responsible for facilitating the standardization and automation of Master Data Management processes, providing the evaluation of technical feasibility in the different ERP systems or tools, and coordinating digital transformation initiatives. In this role you will also provide technical expertise to define strategies, support Master Data department goals and enhance the utilization of tools and systems while guiding the business users in all relevant aspects. You will cooperate with Global Key Users, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Treasury, IT and Process Management departments to ensure business continuity and efficient processes and will participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions in continuous improvement data management.
Your Tasks:
- Offer technical expertise to support Vendor, Material and Customer Master Data Management, implementation of Master Data Governance tool in SAP ERP and migrations to SAP S4HANA
- Manage projects and process implementations requiring technical knowledge and lead efforts to drive digital transformation
- Serve as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with SAP modules
- Research and provide guidance on complex master data elements and technical know-how to the team on tools and system utilization
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on IT solutions and processes and liase with external providers
- Ensure the availability of reports in PowerBI or SAP for effective data analysis and decision-making in the Master Data Management department
- Act as the primary point of contact for Master Data Management Change Requests and contribute on the definition of roles and authorizations in related systems
- Provide second-level support for incident management and troubleshoot and maintain Master Data Management tools and systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through innovative or existing technologies
Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Preferably academic degree in Business Management, Information Technology or any other related field
- Relevant experience in Master Data Management, Information Technology or Supply Chain
- Practical knowledge in the area of master data management, ideally in the SAP master data
- Experience with project management and IT implementation projects
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including expert use of MS Excel and Power BI knowledge is an advantage
- Digital mindset with expertise in Master Data Management and governance
- Ability to succinctly report status and present results while working in a demand-driven environment
- Detail-oriented mindset with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks / projects and follow up on outstanding tasks for consistent resolution (with minimal supervision)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, organization skills
- Solution- and service-focused mindset to develop innovative and sustainable solutions
- Process-driven team player with solid judgment and decision-making capabilities
- English fluent, any other language skills are considered an advantage
