We are looking for a Sales Intern! Their task is to support the Great Lakes Regional manager in the promotion of ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed in the Michigan Sugar growing market.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Manager with sales support of Independent Sales Agents

  • Assist Regional manager with facilitation of grower strip trial program

  • Assist regional manager with internal variety trial data collection.

  • Attend grower meetings and plot tours.

  • Installation and removal of field signs.

  • Help facilitate ACH Seeds participation in various industry events as well as customer and cooperator events.

  • Assist with other industry led variety trial data collection.

  • Work with Sales manager, Sales Operations and Independent Sales Agents to update customer list.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Second- or third-year undergraduate student in the Michigan beet growing area majoring in an agricultural discipline.
  • Knowledge of agriculture and farming a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Skilled in use of computer hardware and software including all Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with social media.
  • Some travel to the various sugarbeet production areas within the United States is possible.
  • Reliable personal vehicle- reimbursement for business miles at standard federal rate
