We are looking for a committed individual with a background in waste management for our headquarters in Einbeck (Lower Saxony, Germany). In this responsible position, you will coordinate the smooth running of our waste management operations – sustainably and efficiently. You will support processes by performing SAP-related tasks (cost center management, invoice verification, and waste volume and cost tracking).

Your tasks – responsibility meets competence:
• Evaluation and tracking of waste volumes, costs, and waste management contracts
• Checking and approving invoices in SAP within the budget framework
• Supporting the waste and hazardous materials officer in day-to-day business and projects
• Organizing waste disposal with external specialist companies and logistics partners
• Creating consignment notes and certificates in the ZEDAL system
• Coordinating contracts and orders with the purchasing and legal departments
• Representing the waste management officer in their absence
• Maintaining the register for AwSV facilities and certificates
Your profile – professional competence meets personality:
• Completed technical or commercial training or relevant experience in waste management
• Confident use of SAP, MS Office, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of chemicals, hazardous substances, and plant protection law as well as the ZEDAL system is an advantage
• Willingness to attend legally required training courses (KrWG, hazardous goods law)
• Ideally, specialist training course “Operations Officer for Waste”
• Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and team spirit
• Structured, independent way of working with a high willingness to learn and take on responsibility
• Class B driver's license and very good German and good English skills
