Join us as Expert (m/f/d) Controlling - Central Functions and work closely with senior leaders to steer global functions through financial insights, governance, reporting, and strategic decision support.

 

Within the Expert Hub Sales Controlling & Functional Cost, you will act as a trusted financial counterpart to selected Group and Global Functions. Combining the mindset of a financial advisor with the expertise of a controlling specialist, you will support leadership teams in making informed decisions, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and translate data into actionable business insights. At the same time, you will drive transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across functional cost management, planning, reporting, and governance.

 

This is a permanent, full-time job-opening. The place of work is at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

Financial Steering & Management Support

  • Act as the primary finance contact for assigned Group and Global Functions
  • Support leaders in planning, forecasting and financial decision making
  • Challenge budget assumptions and identify risks and opportunities early
  • Increase transparency of cost drivers, spending patterns and investment decisions

Functional Cost Controlling & Governance

  • Ensure high-quality controlling structures for reporting, planning and forecasting
  • Monitor and improve data quality across controlling processes
  • Contribute to further development of functional cost standards and steering concepts

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop meaningful management reporting and KPI-based insights
  • Act as functional counterpart in the further development of S/4HANA reporting solutions
  • Translate business requirements into reporting concepts and analytical solutions

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive process harmonization and standardization across functions
  • Lead improvement initiatives to simplify planning and reporting processes
  • Collaborate closely with Business Functions and other Expert Hubs

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning, Business Steering or Finance
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Good understanding of SAP/S4HANA controlling environments
  • Ability to communicate financial matters to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting mindset
  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
  • Excellent English and German skills
