Are you passionate about shaping political dialogue and influencing decision-making at the EU level? KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is seeking a dedicated Expert Governmental Affairs (all genders) to join our Corporate Communications team at our headquarters in Einbeck or in our Berlin office. In this strategic role, you will represent KWS’s interests, working together with our Head of Governmental Affairs. With confidence and diplomacy, you will build strong relationships and drive impactful communication with political stakeholders. The position is full-time and permanent.

 

Your Responsibilities – Make an Impact

  • Develop and communicate KWS’s political positions, focusing on EU institutions and key member states (especially Germany)
  • Represent KWS in political dialogues and integrate relevant topics into internal and external communications
  • Foster collaboration between different departments, such as Business Units, Legal or Regulatory Affairs
  • Organize and support political events, both online and in-person (mainly in Brussels)
  • Ensure structured, independent work while staying closely connected to the corporate communications team

 

Your Profile – What You Bring

  • Academic degree in political science, law, economics or a comparable field
  • Familiarity with EU institutions and decision-making processes
  • Experience working with or within EU institutions constitutes an advantage
  • Background in the agricultural sector is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; confident speaker and networker
  • Structured, results-oriented work style with excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% at high times), especially to Brussels
  • Very good command of English (C1); German is a plus
