Would you like to gain practical experience within data management, software development (UI/UX) and user documentation, AI chatbot training for user support and related fields? We offer an internship (3-6 month) in projects related to the information management in plant breeding in one of the biggest seed companies in the world. What awaits you in an internship position:

· The opportunity to gain insight into data management and software development topics for the agriculture sector (plant breeding).

· The adventure to take responsibility of a small project that will allow you to develop your skills to drive and manage a topic.

 · Potential project topics: testing/training AI for chatbots, Testing software, supporting rollout of a software tool, creation of user manuals and Masterdata curation.

· Practicing building a network with colleagues, users, and stakeholders.

· Team spirit and respectful cooperation.

· Modern leadership style to support your personal and professional development.

· Your KWS home base will be preferably Berlin or Einbeck, depending on the project you might travel to another breeding station in Germany.

What you should bring with you:

· You are a student of computer science, data science, or related fields (Bachelor or Master).

· Basic knowledge on agriculture or horticulture is a plus.

· Experience in data management, such as data processing, data curation and Masterdata.

· Experience in R or Phyton (data management) are a plus.

· Preferably some knowledge in creating end-user documentation.

· Knowledge of common MS software (Word, Power Point, Excel).

· Flexibility and willingness to take responsibility of a small project.

· High level of commitment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Good to very good academic performance.

· Able to communicate in English (oral and written).
