You are looking for experiences in plant breeding and phytopathology?

KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for an Intern (m/w/d) located in Einbeck for our Native traits maize team to support us in the area of biotic stress tolerance. The full-time position is open from 1. June 2022 till 30. September 2022.



What you can expect:

  • Support in inoculum preparation for several plant diseases
  • Scoring of plant disease susceptibility in greenhouse and field trials
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation of the data
  • Documentation of data and presentation of results  
  • Work in an international team


What we are looking for:

  • Successful completion of bachelor studies or ongoing Master studies in natural sciences
  • Knowledge of plant breeding, phytopathology, and biostatistics
  • Experiences with field phenotyping and plant diseases in maize
  • Working independently with high communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Driver’s license
