KWS is looking to hire a lead (m/f/d) for its Strategic Project Management team. As the Lead Strategic Project Management (m/f/d), you will develop and execute high priority large-scale and cross-departmental projects.
The role ensures a group-wide coordination of such projects and collaborates closely with the senior leadership of the various business units and the research organization. 

Additionally, the main tasks of this role include project development, budgeting and forecasting - therefore this role serves as a key position to the growth and development of KWS. Key duties also include project actualization, result presentation and project conclusion, including integration / transition into operational business. In addition, the Lead Strategic Project Management assures harmonization in management of strategic projects in the KWS organization.


This is a full-time and a permanent position. The place of employment is Einbeck / south Lower Saxony.
Your tasks:


  • identify, analyze, recommend, and implement strategic solutions by developing a deep understanding of KWS’ capabilities. 
  • effectively collaborate across teams through managing people, tasks, and workflows.
  • drive key transformational innovation projects with cross-functional teams.
  • performs project budgeting and forecasting.
  • delivers project results.
  • transitions project into operational business units. 
  • assures harmonization in management of strategic projects.

Your profile:



  • academic degree in agriculture or business administration or a similar course of study.
  • several years of professional experience in the field of agricultural inputs or strategic project management.
  • experience having worked in an R&D-driven company with divisional structures. 
  • ability to work in an environment with complex structures and international context.
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively on engagements; relevant experience in change management.
  • solid understanding of the agricultural industry and the respective markets.
  • proven leadership skills.
  • fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills are an asset.
