Would you like to be part of a global team and shape the agriculture of tomorrow? KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) to support our international team in the Sugarbeet division.
As a Portfolio Manager (m/f/d), you will act as a bridge between breeding and our markets to ensure market-oriented product development. This position offers you the unique opportunity to manage a powerful portfolio on an international level and develop projects that support the future growth of our Sugarbeet Business Unit. The primary place of work is in Einbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany. This exciting position is permanent and full-time.

 

Your Responsibilities - Challenge and Responsibility:

  • Steering of quantity planning and seed availability at the interface between production, disposition, quality control, and sales
  • Analysis and evaluation of processes from planning through production to sales, and initiating of measures for optimization
  • Collaboration and networking with breeding to optimize portfolio management
  • Development of efficient analysis tools for portfolio management
  • Optimization of results for the entire portfolio
  • Project work and project management

 

Your Profile - Where Competence Meets Personality:

  • Completed degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biology, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in international portfolio management, product management, or project management, as well as knowledge of sales, breeding, or seed production, is advantageous
  • High degree of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, and project management skills, coupled with reliable, independent, and goal-oriented work
  • Proficient IT skills in MS Office and experience with handling large amounts of data; experience with complex IT landscapes, databases, and SAP is advantageous
  • High initiative and independence combined with entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong process thinking and the ability to analyze complex correlations and prepare them in a target group-oriented manner
  • Curiosity and willingness to change, as well as assertiveness to drive change processes forward
  • High level of communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, while good knowledge of German is advantageous
