Would you like to work on modern technologies in the field of Precision Farming and significantly change agriculture with us? Then you are the right person for us as our new Project Manager / Data Architect (m/f/d) with a focus on Digital Farming Service. 

This is a permanent position and available in full-time at our HQ KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck, Lower Saxony.

Your Tasks:

• Collaboration in the further development of the consulting platform myKWS as well as various connected global systems (PIM, DAM, KWS Geomapping System, Mobile Applications)
• Project responsibility for the further development of various precision farming tools and other connected IT projects
• Independent management and coordination of external implementation partners as part of project implementation
• Connection of different external data suppliers to the geomapping system (weather, soil, terrain data...)
• Creation of technical concepts, design of data structures (user data, product data) as well as interfaces
• Management of the operation of the implemented projects (outsourcing)

Your Profile:

• Degree in computer science, preferably in geoinformatics or in a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in IT project management 
• Very good knowledge in project management - especially agile project management skills (Scrum, Kanban preferred)
• Knowledge in dealing with databases
• Desirable: experience in precision farming as well as in the use of multi-layer geo and weather data 
• High level of self-motivation to familiarize yourself with our KWS-specific systems 
• Strong willingness to cooperate, also in a cross-functional network
• Ability to innovate and flexibility
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in both German and English (both written and spoken)
