KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Agricultural scientist (m/f/d) for the rapeseed production department to start as soon as possible. If you have a passion for growing oilseed rape and would like to apply your expertise in an international environment, then this is your opportunity. Your main task will be to deal with the production of rapeseed in the field as well as the processing and treatment of rapeseed. This exciting and varied position offers a permanent full-time position at our head office in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany). Hybrid work is possible.

What you can expect:

• Independent supervision and coordination of rapeseed seed production in Germany and abroad
• Management of seed processing and treatment
• Creation and evaluation of key production figures
• Coordination and documentation of quality tests and subsequent provision of quality results
• Organization and evaluation of production trials
• Further development of cultivation strategies in collaboration with our propagation partners
• Testing  of new treatment products 

What you bring with you:

• Degree in agricultural sciences with a focus on crop science or similar qualifications with practical experience in plant production
• Sound knowledge of plant cultivation and plant production
• Ideally initial professional experience in the cultivation of rapeseed
• Assertiveness, quick comprehension and strong team spirit
• Confident knowledge of German and English (written and spoken) is required, knowledge of another language (e.g. French) is an advantage
• Willingness for occasional national and international business trips (up to 25%) and a class B driver's license
