At the Einbeck location of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, we are looking for a dedicated Team Lead Seed Preparation (m/f/d). In this role, you will take responsibility for a strong team and help shape the future of seed logistics together with us – close to practice, close to people. This exciting and responsible position is full-time, permanent, and available as soon as possible

Your Tasks – Challenge Meets Responsibility:

  • Together with your team of approximately 20 employees, you ensure high quality in the equipment and sowing preparation processes of our seeds across various crop types
  • In addition to the disciplinary leadership of your team, you support them in day-to-day operations with your expertise and experience in the above-mentioned areas
  • You provide your team with the necessary resources (staff, machinery, materials)
  • With flat hierarchies, technical know-how, and a strong spirit of innovation, you encourage your team to continuously improve processes and tools. In doing so, you work closely with stakeholders from R&D and the Business Unit
  • You collaborate closely with the leadership team of the Elite Seed Warehouse to act as one leadership unit, allocate resources optimally, and leverage synergies

 

Your Profile – Competence Meets Personality:

  • You have completed vocational training with an additional master craftsman qualification or hold a degree in one of the following fields: business administration, agriculture, mechanical engineering, or a comparable subject
  • You have several years of professional experience in an industrial company, ideally in logistics or a "blue collar" environment. If you’ve already gained some leadership experience – even better!
  • You possess sound knowledge of business-related topics and are familiar with common Microsoft Office programs
  • You see your main responsibility in supporting your team and creating an environment in which everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow
  • You are passionate about technology and see it as the key to continuous improvement
  • You feel confident making clear decisions and always communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully; you’re not afraid of conflict and handle mistakes with transparency
  • You are business fluent in German and have fluent English skills
  • You are willing to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally (approx. 10%)
