KGaA is searching for a talented and motivated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team at our global headquarters in Einbeck, Germany.
This is a full-time position with an initial 2-year fixed-term contract, potentially leading to a permanent role. We're excited to fill it as soon as possible!

Your responsibilities:

• Design and plan experiments while ensuring precise documentation of results
• Perform cloning of constructs and genetic transformation of bacteria and fungi
• Express and purify proteins using diverse systems
• Conduct in Planta Co-Immunoprecipitation experiments
• Execute SDS-PAGE and Western blot analyses
• Carry out enzymatic assays with accuracy and efficiency
• Contribute to general lab maintenance

Bring in your potential:

• Completed training as ATA, LTA, BTA, bachelor’s or master’s degree in life science or any other comparable qualifications
• Know-how and hands-on experience in working with proteins and protein interaction techniques
• Knowledge in the field of plant-pathogen interactions and experience with plant pathogenic fungi is plus
• High level of motivation and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Good communication skills in both German and English
