KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for our Marker Service department at our headquarter in Einbeck, Germany, to start as soon as possible. This full-time position is initially limited to two years. 

The position is responsible for performing DNA extractions for marker analysis, which includes:  

• Preparation of samples for extraction  
• Carrying out the extractions  
• Handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment, pipetting machines, and extraction robots  
• Maintenance of requirement- and application-related data pools in corresponding databases  
• In our department, we work according to standardized QM processes but regularly offer opportunities for further development and learning new skills. Your own ideas are always welcome! 

With this profile, you fit the position:  

• Completed vocational training as an ATA/BTA or comparable qualification, preferably with some experience in plants or seeds  
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for large technical systems, as we work with some technical in-house developments in our marker service  
• Solid knowledge of MS Office applications as well as database knowledge/experience  
• Fluent German skills and basic English skills  
• High motivation and the ability to remain focused and productive even in stressful situations  
• Reliable, independent working style and strong team skills
