KWS BENELUX BV is looking to recruit, at the earliest opportunity a Team Leader Greenhouses. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Nagele.

The KWS polder station in Nagele (Flevoland) consists of approximately 100 ha of arable farming with research and breeding activities for various crops within the cultivation plan. The technical team consists of 28 employees who are responsible for a wide range of activities year-round.

Purpose:

• Specifically responsible for the process "Berry and Seed handling", with the assignment to optimize these processes 20% of the time 
•  Operational knowledge of the use of the database – SID – with the aim of efficiently extracting reports and labels from it. In addition, being able to upload registered data (20% of the time) 
• Broad and operational knowledge of all processes within the greenhouse, and able to act as a substitute, without the implicit task of optimizing these processes (20% of the time)
• Practical support for plant care (40% of the time) 

Your tasks:

• Thanks to your operational knowledge of SID database, you will produce labels for the greenhouse organization, draw up overviews, prepare data scanners, upload data, train and/or guide colleagues in dealing with SID.
• You have operational responsibility for processes in the greenhouses
• You will contribute to improvements regarding activities and processes in the field of work of the greenhouses from daily practice to/with the manager
• You will be in charge of the registration and processing of data concerning work carried out, data of sowing and spraying, etc. and you will be reporting on this.
• You will be explaining, supervising and addressing colleagues and employees (also from third parties) on compliance with regulations, instructions and protocols

 
Your profile:

• You have a completed agricultural education at HBO level
• You have affinity with working in greenhouses
• You have operational knowledge of the use of the SID database
• You have good communication skills
• You have a leadership character
• You can work accurately, have a good analytical mind, you are proactive, flexible and willing to work (with colleagues) on a wide range of tasks.
• Due to the international character of the company, it is useful to have good command of English
