We are looking for a Trial Manager for our Nagele station to lead and coordinate agricultural field trials across The Netherlands. In this role, you will manage a team of technicians, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure trials are executed in line with protocols, quality standards, and company guidelines.

About the location

The KWS polder station in Nagele (Flevoland) covers approximately 100 hectares of arable land and supports research and breeding activities for multiple crops. A technical team of around 30 employees carries out a wide range of activities throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a national network of field trials
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians
• Plan and execute trials according to protocols and objectives
• Promote a data-driven and continuous improvement approach
• Manage performance, costs, and compliance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Your profile

• Relevant university degree or comparable experience
• Leadership skills and line management experience or potential
• Experience with stakeholder management
• Fluency in English and Dutch (mandatory)
• Knowledge of agricultural field trials
• Strong communication, organizational, and digital skills
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and quality-focused mindset
