KWS Vegetables is looking for a Technical Sales Representative based in Culiacán, Sinaloa, or in Sonora (Ciudad Obregón / Hermosillo), Mexico. The position is permanent and full-time, with a start date of September 1, 2026. The role will have primary responsibility for Northwest Mexico, including Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California, and Baja California Sur, with support in other Northern Mexico territories as needed.

Key Duties:

  • Generate demand among customers for KWS varieties within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a sales action plan to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
  • Initiate and maintain direct contact and ongoing relationships with customers, prospects, distributors, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement annual trial plans to position new varieties in the region and create demand for future sales.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the product portfolio, as well as the ability to identify the key characteristics new varieties should have in order to stand out and deliver added value.
  • Monitor and report market data and information on acreage, prices, competitive activities, and market trends.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales management and development within the assigned territory.
  • Engagement with customers, prospects, distributors, and industry contacts.
  • Provide a high level of product knowledge and information.

 

Your profile:

  • Requires a minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy or Horticulture
  • 3+ years of experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred
  • General experience in sales
  • Fluent English in word and writing, additional language(s) are an advantage
