KWS UK Ltd. is looking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a Field and Greenhouse Technician. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Thriplow near Cambridge. 

In this position you will join our team and assist with field, barn, laboratory and glasshouse operations essential for the successful development of new varieties.

What you will do: 

• You carry out field activities such as sowing, pest control, rogueing, scoring, harvesting.
• You work indoors on seed processing and identification of varietal characteristics.
• You work in the glasshouses to harvest material or to cross varieties.
• You are a key member of the variety purification and maintenance team.

• Agricultural machinery experience would be beneficial but not essential. 

• You are willing to work longer hours during harvest, drilling and other peak periods.
