About the Job

Are you looking for a professional opportunity in a global agricultural company focused on seeds? At KWS Semillas Ibérica S.L.U we have a strategic position open as a Head of Product Management and Agroservice Spain/Portugal (m/f/d).

 

As a Head of Product Management and Agroservice Spain/Portugal (m/f/d) you will be responsible for generating information about our product pipeline trials, be involved in product advancement decisions, and support the country leader, Agroservices and Sales team to implement product and positioning strategy. You will also be responsible for the Agroservices area, working with a highly capable team of professionals to give the best support to internal teams and to the Spanish and Portuguese markets to reach the full potential of their fields. This position is permanent and full time, located in our office in Zaratan (Valladolid).

 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Work together with Country Leader on product strategy and portfolio planning;
  • Lead the Agroservices team planning the area´s activities, and providing information for proper product positioning for Spain and Portugal;
  • Interact with Marketing and Sales team giving technical support and training;
  • Interact with customers and support the sales team on specific visits;
  • Participate in internal and external events as the technical person representing KWS;

 

 

Your profile:

  • Agronomy/ Agricultural Engineering degree or related area of study;
  • Minimum 5 year experience in the agricultural field;
  • Advanced Spanish and English necessary (written and spoken);
  • Analytical mindset and ability to translate data into information;
  • Strategic market outlook to advance products and identify gaps and needs;
  • Excellent MS office knowledge. Specifically, Excel;
  • Ability to balance responsibilities of product management, including budgeting and forecasting, with sales activities, connecting with customers and providing information to the sales team.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with a confident manner and organizational talent, also at internal and external events.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel on a regular basis.
  • Ideally you already have some experience in leading a team.
