Join us as an experienced and motivated Key User (m/f/d) SAP S/4HANA - Procurement and help shape the transformation of our global procurement landscape. As the primary business representative for the Source-to-Pay workstream, you will connect procurement processes, systems, and business requirements across functions—and see the direct impact of your work across the organization. 

 

This role gives you broad exposure to the entire Source-to-Pay department and the opportunity to contribute to business-critical end-to-end areas, including Field-to-Plant, Plant-to-Stock, and Order-to-Cash. You will implement new SAP S/4HANA-enabled processes, drive process excellence and digital transformation, and foster strong collaboration across Procurement, Finance, IT, Master Data Management, and Business Units worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

 

SAP S/4HANA & Process Transformation 

  • Serve as the primary contact for the global Source-to-Pay (S2P) workstream within the SAP S/4HANA transformation program 

  • Lead and support the rollout of new S/4HANA-enabled procurement and purchasing processes across the organization 

  • Ensure alignment of Source-to-Pay business requirements, process designs, and documentation with other functional areas including Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Master Data Management (MDM), and related business functions 

  • Coordinate with cross-functional workstream leads to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency

Stakeholder & Project Management 

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Digital Solutions teams, and external partners 

  • Act as the central point of contact for all S2P-related topics and process ownership matters

  • Lead projects, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and change requests

  • Coordinate with Program Management Offices (PMO) and participate in steering committees and cross-functional governance forums

  • Monitor project milestones, track deliverables, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

Operational Excellence & User Support 

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support release planning activities

  • Support incident management, issue resolution, security and role administration, and periodic access reviews

  • Maintain process templates, documentation, and governance standards

  • Ensure business readiness of new tools to drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption within procurement operations globally

Training 

  • Lead change management activities related to system implementations and upgrades

  • Support users by translating business needs into practical and sustainable system solutions

  • Develop and deliver training programs and communication materials for end users

  • Facilitate understanding and adoption of new procurement processes and digital solutions throughout the organization

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Several years of experience in Procurement, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), or Supply Chain Operations -ideally in global procurement organizations 

  • Strong experience working with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within SAP MM (Materials Management). User knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning); experience with S2P platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Ivalua is a great asset 

  • Proven experience supporting or implementing end-to-end procurement processes, systems, and digital transformation initiatives

  • Sound understanding of Source-to-Contract (S2C), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes

  • Experience in project coordination, process optimization, system upgrades, or business transformation projects 

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. German and/or additional European language skills desirable

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with high degree of accountability and ownership 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities 

  • Ability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective system solutions 

  • Strong project management and coordination skills 

  • Able to work in cross-functional and international environments 

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills 

  • Excellent command of English

 

 Preferred 

  • Knowledge of ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms

  • Experience working in global procurement organizations

  • Good German language skills
