We are looking for a proactive and detailed-oriented candidate as a Material/Production Master Data Management Associate (m/f/d) for KWS Berlin GmbH. In this role you will play a vital part in the efficient management of material/production data records, provide support in project management and process improvement. The position will focus specifically on managing and governing product-related data, ensuring smooth operations supporting KWS Business Units globally.

This job is full-time (38h/week), hybrid (40% home-office) and limited to 2 years with possibility for extension. 

 

 

Your Tasks:

  • Act as the primary resource for operational, technical, and knowledge-based inquiries within the MDM team.
  • Share your expertise by providing support, guidance, and training to colleagues in day‑to‑day activities and take ownership of complex master data maintenance in SAP across various business areas.
  • Conduct analyses to identify root causes of issues and proactively develop effective solutions. Identify opportunities for improvement, standardization, and digitalization within operations and take the lead in initiating process changes.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and maintain high-quality results in all assigned projects and responsibilities.
  • Drive efficiency improvements and lead digital transformation initiatives with proactive strategies and decisive actions.
  • Act as a role model in delivering outstanding customer service and foster a collaborative environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge, including facilitating knowledge transfer sessions within the team.
  • Contribute as a deputy process owner to the development of robust process documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures in alignment with relevant stakeholders. Facilitate training documentation and end‑user training.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and governance to maintain data compliance with defined policies and quality requirements and support the development and implementation of internal controls,
  • Foster cross-functional cooperation and an efficient information flow between different stakeholders.

 

Your Profile:

  • Academic degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain or any other related field;
  • Solid experience in Material Master Data Management (MMDM) and/or Product Master Data Management (PMDM) or Product Lifecycle Management Systems;
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Master Data processes and related modules;
  • Relevant experience related to Material and Production Master Data (Including BOMs, Work Centers, Routings and Production Versions) especially in the agricultural industry;
  • Understanding of common regulatory and compliance requirements;
  • Experience with project management,  process excellence, and the application of process mapping or Business Process Management (BPM) techniques is an advantage;
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, including expert use of MS Excel. PowerApps and Power BI knowledge are an advantage; 
  • Autonomy, multi-tasking, detail-oriented profile; Process driven, with solution- and service-focus;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
  • Innovative and sustainable mindset; 
  • English fluent is mandatory, any other language is a plus.
