KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a Process Excellence Manager (m/f/d) - Order-to-Cash in the Order-to-Cash Department with knowledge of English and/or German.

 

 This is a full-time permanent position at our Berlin-based entity.

 

 

 Your responsibilities:

 

  • Own global order-to-cash process design (credit management, billing, collections, etc.), including RACI and control framework; act as design authority for end-to-end order-to-cash processes
  • Lead continuous improvement roadmap using Lean/Six Sigma principles; conduct maturity assessments and evolve the target operating model
  • Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls (ICS), segregation of duties, and audit requirements
  • Drive standardization and change management, including SOPs, training curriculum, and communication
  • Define, harmonize and track process KPIs (DSO, collection cycle, cash allocation SLA, etc.); collaborate with Automation Lead and key users to identify and implement automation opportunities
  • Support the Head of Order-to-Cash by fostering a culture of continuous improvement across order-to-cash

 

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Lead and facilitate end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives:
    • Conduct value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and root-cause analysis
    • Identify systemic improvement opportunities across order-to-cash processes
    • Prioritize initiatives based on impact
    • Deliver signed-off improvements with measurable benefits
  • Manage process change governance (BPM in Signavio), SOPs, and control narratives; oversee periodic reviews and ensure readiness for releases and transformation
  • Partner with PMO of E-invoicing for the implementation of E-invoicing mandates as per changing regulatory needs within the European Union and beyond
  • Partner with order-to-cash data analytics and leadership to define KPI standards and ensure transparency
  • Assist team lead with internal and external audits related to order-to-cash
  • Support Head of Order-to-Cash as needed in senior management meetings

 

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • Academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in Order-to-Cash/Shared Services/Finance
  • Excellent project management skills paired with strong experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash ERPs (such as SAP/Oracle), control design, and policy frameworks
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving process adoption
  • Proficient in tools such as SAP, process mining, data visualization
  • Sound experience with process modelling (BPMN), service management
  • Proficiency with project management tools and techniques  
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written). German language skills are an asset
