Move beyond pure operational controlling and actively shape how production controlling is done across an international, producing organization. 

 

As our new Expert Production Controlling (m/f/d), you will take ownership of defining and embedding standardized production controlling processes, ensuring robust and reliable product cost calculations, and translating complex production and cost data into meaningful insights for management.  

 

Additionally, partnering closely with business units, production, logistics, and finance, you will act as a senior sparring partner, driving transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across plants and regions. 

 

This is a permanent position which is available full-time. The place of work is at our HQ in Einbeck. 

 

 

 

Tasks:

 

  • Standards & Process Excellence:  
  • Develop, harmonize, and implement KWS-wide guidelines and standards for production controlling, and continuously improve controlling processes in close collaboration with relevant business function
  • Product Costing & Planning: 
  • Ensure accurate and consistent product cost calculations for planning, forecasting, and closing processes 
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Partner organization to align on methodologies and ensure data quality
  • Reporting & Data Analytics 
  • Develop and standardize reporting structures at local and consolidated levels 
  • Provide data and analysis on production processes and costs to support decision-making at plant, business units and executive levels 
  • Collaboration & Guidance 
  • Work closely with Business Units, production/logistics, and controlling teams and provide guidance 
  • Act as a trusted partner for local and global stakeholders in all production controlling matters 
  • System & Application Support 
  • Ensure key user support for relevant systems (e.g., SAP CO-PA, Material Ledger, Integrated Planning for Sales/COGS) 
  • Define system requirements in collaboration with the Expert Hub Data and Demand Management 
  • Evaluate change requests and ensure appropriate system and process training for users 
  • Training & Enablement
  • Design and deliver training programs in the area of production controlling
  • Promote knowledge sharing and build capability across the finance and controlling community 

 

 

 

Profile: 

 

  • Preferably an academic degree in business administration or international business with a focus on controlling 
  • Proven track record of many years of experience in controlling in a producing company 
  • Relevant experience in production controlling is preferred 
  • IT literate in MS Office and SAP 
  • Project management skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Keen interest in shaping and bringing production controlling to the next level 
  • Team player who loves working with others 
  • Energetic person with a can-do attitude and a positive mindset 
  • Great command of English
