Join our dynamic team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA as our new Group HSE manager (m/f/d) and be a key player in managing our health, safety, and environment (HSE) processes. You will be at the forefront of promoting HSE awareness, ensuring the protection of our employees, safeguarding our valuable know-how, and preserving our assets. 

This is a permanent position and available in full-time. Your place at work is at our HQ in Einbeck, Lower Saxony. 

Your new tasks & projects:

• Planning, designing and implementing an HSE strategy and program to create an international health, safety and environmental standard 
• Conducting HSE audits at our international locations 
• Preparing of annual HSE status report with the aim of a fit-gap analysis 
• Supporting the company's sustainability reporting with input and KPIs 
• Increasing group-wide HSE awareness 
• Monitoring and evaluating current trends and requirements in relation to HSE 
• Identifying and reporting HSE risks and opportunities 
• Supporting the implementation of technical requirements of the property insure 

Your profile: 

• Preferably an academic degree in occupational safety and health, engineering or environmental science or a related field and / or additional qualifications as an occupational safety specialist, fire protection officer 
• Professional experience in HSE or a related field  
• Knowledge of the seed industry technologies and its value chain is an advantage 
• Knowledge of the applicable international HSE management standards 
• Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics in a global business environment 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Self-confident, assertive but always friendly manner with intercultural awareness 
• Good management and project leadership skills 
• Team player 
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented 
• Very good command of both English and German (written and spoken)
