We are seeking a full-time Seed Process Expert (m/f/d) to join the breeding information team of the maize and oilseed breeding technology department at KWS SAAT SE in Einbeck (Lower Saxony, Germany). 

This position is to be filled, as soon as possible, in full-time and with a permanent contract. 

Your responsibilities: 

• Focus on the logistic and digital improvement of seed storage and seed processing workflows. 
• Coordinate, administer, and further develop a cross-crop seed storage system logistics and harvest process platform. 
• Work closely with plant breeding, research, logistics, and programming teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders, standardize processes, and support software development.
• Travel to various KWS breeding stations nationally and internationally to support and train users on-site, as well as to gain experience with the variability of on-site conditions and specificities.

Your profile:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in logistics management, information technology, plant or animal breeding, or a related field.
• Experience in Logistics Management, more precisely in process design, standardization and digitalization of processes. 
• Basic knowledge of logistics in breeding and seed storage.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and optionally APIs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, process- and goal-oriented, hands-on, and you excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in German and English. Knowledge of the Spanish language would be appreciated. 
• Willingness to frequent travel nationally and internally.
