To strengthen our International Rapeseed Team for KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA we are looking for an experienced Technical Market Manager (m/f/d) for rapeseed with focus on the Central European Market.

International Agroservice combines the areas of plant breeding, marketing and sales within KWS. In this role you will work closely with the 'Core Team Rape' in Einbeck (Lod Saxony, Germany) and the local teams on site to develop market strategies and position new products optimally. You will analyze test results, train our sales teams on current research findings and implement concepts for the further development of our consulting and digital offering. You will also maintain contact with scientific organizations to ensure that you are always up to date.

 

This position offers a permanent full-time position at our headquarters in Einbeck (Lower Saxony/Germany) or another KWS location in Europe but flexible hybrid working model is possible.

 

Your tasks - challenge meets responsibility:

  • Leading international, cross-functional task forces to develop variety traits and positioning strategies

  • Development and implementation of solutions to agronomic problems in international oilseed rape cultivation

  • Identification of market trends and development of services for customers

  • Planning and monitoring of field trials

  • Regular training for the sales teams on new topics in rapeseed cultivation


Your profile - competence meets personality:

  • University degree in agricultural sciences or related fields

  • Solid local market knowledge in rapeseed sales in the Central European Region (Baltic States, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia)

  • Experience in project management and in the planning and evaluation of field trials

  • Ability to simplify and process complex relationships and to communicate with the teams

  • Creative thinking and independent way of working

  • Convincing appearance and proactive contribution of own ideas

  • Good IT skills, statistical knowledge an advantage

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, knowledge of another language (including German) is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel (35% or more, Europe-wide) and a car driver's license
