KWS Italia S.p.A. is looking for a Field Production Technician for their cereals unit activities based in Forlì. This position is full-time and unlimited

 

What you can expect in this role:

  • Coordination and supervision of field activities and the seasonal workers during the growing phases of the crops.
  • Implement new production techniques
  • Implement high quality assurance measures
  • Area responsibility for a dedicated production region
  • Support all activities related the sugar beet seed
    production (nurseries included), cereals and other
    projects
  • Ensure production stability on a high marketable level
    (germination and purity) 
  • Apply continuous improvement techniques
  • Seed production results on stable level for yield
    and high-quality
  •  Implementation of good production techniques and
    new technologies

What you bring in: 

  • Residing in Forlì or willing to relocate
  • Technician qualification in agriculture
  • Sound agricultural know-how, preferably experienced in seed production
  • Fluent in Italian, intermediate English
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel within production regions
  • Effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, delivering results, continuous development
