At KWS, we’re looking for a Business Partner Finance & Controlling who will act as a true co-pilot to local management, transforming financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive sustainable business performance.

This is more than a finance role. You’ll be the go-to expert for all financial topics, a trusted advisor to leadership, and a key player in shaping decisions that matter.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Partnership
  • Advise local leadership with clear, data-driven insights.
  • Support strategic and operational decisions with solid analysis.
  • Identify business needs, propose practical solutions, and manage key risks.
• Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Uphold legal, tax, and regulatory standards.
• Operational and Financial Management
  • Manage liquidity forecasting and funding needs.
  • Lead local credit committee meetings.
  • Oversee month‑end, quarterly, and year‑end closings and ensure accurate, compliant reporting.
  • Support audits and tax‑related inquiries.
• Performance Planning & Analysis
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, ensuring that assumptions are sound and aligned with business needs.
• Monitor key performance indicators, analyze deviations, and escalate critical issues.
• Support business cases, capital expenditure planning, and profitability reviews.

• Coordinate intercompany processes with cross‑functional and cross‑country teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Education & Experience
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Strong background in Finance & Controlling
  • Proven ability to independently manage Finance & Controlling activities in a global environment (agribusiness experience is a plus).
• Skills & Competencies
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in SAP (FI/CO preferred) and Microsoft tools.
  • Proven experience in change management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to handle both strategic and operational topics.
