Are you seeking an exciting professional challenge in an internationally operating and sustainable company? We have the perfect opportunity for you as an International Production Manager (m/f/d) for our Sub Business Unit Special Crops & Organic Seeds at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA! As an International Production Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for planning and implementing field production, ensuring seed availability, and processing for special crop types (e.g., sorghum, catch crops, or Soybeans). This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Production Special Crops. This diverse position is offered as a permanent full-time position at our location in Wiebrechtshausen/Northeim (Lower Saxony, Germany), starting as soon as possible. The opportunity for (partial) remote work is also available.

 

Your Tasks - Where Challenge Meets Responsibility:

  • Independent acquisition, support, and consultation of multiplication farms and processors nationally and internationally
  • Development of (field) production plans and processing plans in coordination with international markets (worldwide)
  • Oversight of field production and ensuring seed availability in the production network
  • Coordination of partners, processing plans, and delivery schedules
  • Management of entire production orders, including subsequent internal coordination with logistics and other departments

 

Your Profile - Where Competence Meets Personality:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in agricultural sciences or completed vocational training (as a plant technologist, field technician, or equivalent) with relevant experience in the above tasks
  • Practical and agronomic experience in the context of field production and seed processing
  • High degree of flexibility, excellent communication skills, and independent work ethic
  • Proficient IT skills (MS Office), SAP knowledge is advantageous
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English and German (mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%) with flexibility for work during the peak season
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
