We invite you to join our dynamically growing company, which specializes in breeding new varieties of cereals such as hybrid rye, wheat, barley and oats and producing high-quality seed for them. We are currently looking for a person to join the Rye Breeding Department for an attractive position: Hybrid Rye Phenotyping Team Leader to join our Kondratowice/Poland location on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing and executing rye phenotyping and selection work.
• Organization and execution of observations in field experiments, observation rows and isolation plots
• Planning and analysis of routine and special multi-environment experimental series using company software
• Organization of post-harvest processing and preparation for sowing in breeding material experiments with preparation of relevant documentation in the database
• Acting as a communication interface for phenotyping and special breeding programs between rye breeding stations across the company

 
Requirements:

• Completed master's or doctoral degree in plant breeding, agricultural sciences or related field 
• Deep interest in and knowledge of design and analysis of experiments 
• Willingness to further expand expertise
• High level of commitment, flexibility and resistance to stress
• Ability to lead a team and cooperate in a group
• Organizational skills, independence of thought and action
• Ability to work with computers (MS Office package, databases and statistical programs)
• Fluency in Polish and communicative knowledge of English
• Driving license of category B and readiness for short-term trips in the country and abroad (15%)
