As part of the multi-crop initiative, we are looking for a Lead of Customer Service and Logistics (M/F). This person will play a crucial role between the KWS sales team, subcontractors, and suppliers. They will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of the entire supply chain process by establishing, managing, and controlling the implementation of tasks within KWS logistics operations. The primary goal is to provide services and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through a customer-oriented approach, in accordance with KWS procedures and deadlines. The candidate will report directly to the Head of France.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Management: actively participate in driving the transformation process towards a customer-centric organization, supporting the Head of France.

  • Team Management: lead, motivate, and develop the customer service and logistics teams.

  • Customer Service and Logistics Activities:

  • Establish and manage a complete logistics/supply chain system according to the company's needs and various strategic initiatives.

  • Set objectives, policies, and procedures for logistics activities and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with sales managers to ensure the best possible service for partners.

  • Manage seed stocks in collaboration with external partners and the local team.

  • Serve as the local interface between IT and commercial teams.

  • Oversee stock monitoring, deliveries, order management in Salesforce and SAP, and invoicing.

  • Manage all after-sales processes and provide first-level support on all customer-related topics.

  • Act as an interface between sales, production, and the global logistics department.

  • Participate in KWS-related projects.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product management, and sales teams as an active member of the France management team.

 

Desired Profile:

  • University degree in management, logistics, or a related field.

  • Over 3 years of experience in logistics services and/or customer/sales support.

  • Proven experience in team management.

  • Stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of the agricultural market is preferred.

  • Operational knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.

  • Familiarity with general IT programs and an affinity for IT.

  • Proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
